In the early 90’s, my husband, Ed Barnett, had a problem with his computer (a TRS80!!), but when he went to the yellow pages, he realized there wasn’t much help out there.  Ed saw a void.  Like an honest mechanic and a trusted doctor, everyone would soon be in need of a reliable fix-it shop to deal with their computer issues...and so began PC-MD.

Pick up a phone book today, and there are several pages of ads.  At some point in time, we all find ourselves in need of help for  virus removal and protection advice, data retrieval, and network/communications issues.  At PC-MD, we offer all of this and more.

And me, I’m Gloria Foreman Barnett.  Ed and I have run the business together for the last several years.  Now that he’s semi-retired, Ed’s finding other projects to help the community and beyond.  The internet today bears no resemblance to what it was 15 years ago.  I take it upon myself to educate our clients about risky behaviors associated with the web, and how to surf in the safest manner possible.  PC-MD—offering start to finish personalized service, in an atmosphere of positive energy.
